Cookin for Our Kids was an event conducted on April 27-28, 2007 to raise funds in support of the new Central Community School District. Activities included a Crawfish Boil, Cook-off, Car Show, Auctions, and a $10,000. raffle. Over 3,000 individuals part

On February 21st we went to Chalmette to make a presentation of $190,000. from Cookin for our Neighbors. They bought 3 school buses and will place "Spirit of Central" on them representing our city.
