Central HS Football is on the air in 2010! For the first time ever, Central HS Football games will be broadcasted on the radio and the Internet. For the past 3 years, Wildcats games were heard on the Internet. This year, all 10 regular season games and playoff games will be carried on WPFC, 1550AM, Baton Rouge and on the Internet at SportsGumbo.net. Broadcasts will start at 6pm on Friday nights. The twelfth annual “Central Student Prayer Banquet” will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at 6:30pm in the Central High Gym located at 10200 East Brookside Drive. This nondenominational event, sponsored by the City of Central Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to all students and their schools in the Central Community. This is a great time for students from different churches and schools to come together for a time of fellowship, prayer, and fun to kick off the new school year in a positive and uplifting way.

Chamber Membership Luncheon
The City of Central Chamber of Commerce will hold its Monthly Membership Luncheon on Wednesday, September 1 at Kristenwood. The doors open at 11:30AM and the meeting starts at 12noon. Cost for lunch is $10. The candidates for First Circuit Court of Appeal and United States Senator have been invited to speak.
